Mateo’s Benidorm is one of Benidorm's newest and most exciting bars to open in the resort.

For fans of the hit TV show ‘Benidorm’ you will already know that the proud owner behind Mateo’s Bar Benidorm is the creator of the show Derren Litten.

2020 was a tough year for everyone but that did not deter Derren and Jake Canuso from opening Mateo’s Bar, although with restrictions they had to close the bar but from what we saw this is a great addition to Benidorm.

Inside the bar you will recognise original props from the TV series and it is very exciting sitting there surrounded by these awesome items we have only seen on TV screens.

Complete with a full refurbishment, Mateo’s Bar is a good size with plenty of seating and tables for visitors.

Various acts perform at the bar with cameo appearances from Derren and Jake on what is already known as fantastic karaoke nights.

If you want a fun packed evening, Mateo’s Bar in Benidorm ticks all the right boxes.

We do expect busy and packed out evenings once the restrictions are lifted and are advised to get there early if you want good seats.
