Hotel Celymar Benidorm Old Town
If you are looking for a budget hotel in the Old Town then the Hotel Celymar Benidorm is a great choice.
The location is a short walk to the Poniente Beach and the Old Town.
It’s very quiet, probably because the police station is across the road so you know you will get a good nights sleep.
Checking in at the Hotel Celymar Benidorm is straight forward enough and has a friendly receptionist.
One thing I did enjoy on my stay was how it felt like a family run hotel where the staff remember your name and are always on hand.
The room was spacious, basic but had everything you need.
Bathroom is a good size and plenty of hot water. The room has TV, aircon, Wi-Fi, a very comfy bed and a small balcony with table and chairs.
Although the Celymar Benidorm does not have a pool you are welcome to use that of the hotel next door but with Poniente Beach just down the road the pool was not really an issue for me.
Breakfast at the Hotel Celymar is that of a continental variety.
A good range of cold meats, cheeses, cereals and toast.
Coffee and tea was very good and there are also plenty of juices to choose from.
There is also a bar in the Celymar and for evening meal you can also use the hotel next door depending on what board you choose.
When you stay at the Celymar bare in mind it is popular with Spanish visitors so if you are staying here and want to meet new people then you may need pop out to one of the many bars in the area.
The hotel itself is in a great location for those wanting to spend more time in the Old Town but still within walking distance to the New Town.
For the price of the hotel it is a bargain but as we see more hotels in the New Town putting minimum night stays on there properties it has seen an influx of bookings and only time will tell if this great hotel will still be as cheap as it is over the next few years.
